SRX27199688: Whole genome resequencing of marine medaka: muscle
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina NovaSeq 6000) run: 28.7M spots, 8.6G bases, 2.8Gb downloads

Design: The DNA fragments underwent end polishing and 3' acetylation, followed by additional PCR amplification. Subsequently, the constructed libraries underwent comprehensive quality and yield assessment using the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer and ABI StepOnePlus Real-Time PCR System. The libraries were then sequenced using the Illumina HiSeq platform, generating 150bp paired-end reads with an insert size of approximately 350bp.

Study: Evolutionary Phenotypic Traits Adaptations in Marine Medaka (Oryzias melastigma) under Size-Selective Harvesting
show Abstracthide Abstract
Size-selective harvesting has profound evolutionary and ecological implications for fish populations, altering phenotypic traits such as body size, reproductive success, and hatchability, as well as driving significant genetic changes. The population differentiation was analyzed by resequencing.
